Youth Nationals

Last year a group of keen junior anglers from across the country( including myself) came together to form the NZSFC youth committee and designed a tournament with a similar structure to the nationals. 20ft Tinny - Tuna & Marlin Fishing

We had huge fun March 2022, 12 ft tinny trolling along 100 metre linebetween cape runaway and Lottin point (both landmarks in photos), Nigelin Tuna tower, yelling directions for Tuna jumping everywhere (haha as ifI can't see them too!!).We caught 4 Albacore and 3 Skippies, nothing large but awesome fun.Tuna are everywhere, with Marlin and yellowfin being caught just a bitfurther out by the big boy boats.Afterwards we had fun catching snapper and other white flesh eatingfish.Anyone who wants to c...
